Event:  Gaborone Zone Lockdown Re-instated

The Government of Botswana announced the resumption of extreme social distancing in the Gaborone COVID-19 zone starting 13 June 2020 until further notice.  The restrictions on movement will return to the original lockdown regulations.  All non-essential services will be closed, and movement is only allowed by permit.  Permits are obtainable at www.gov.bw.  Those outside of the Gaborone zone will remain in their current status, and travel across zones still requires a permit.

If you are travelling with others, you must complete the form for each person in your group. Entering your data into this form will add you to a list to get separate emails with flight information and logistics.  If you have already completed this form, please do not complete it again.  If you have previously completed the form and no longer wish to depart Botswana, please contact us at ConsularGaborone@state.gov so we can remove you from the list
