Undergraduate Admission Requirements
Most U.S. universities require SAT and TOEFL exams for international students; however, you should verify the specific requirements on each university’s website. SAT Reasoning and SAT Subject Tests – The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is offered about six times a year outside of the United States. Nearby testing centers include the U.S. Consulate General in Johannesburg, University of Witwatersrand, the African Leadership Academy in Honeydew, the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in Henley-on-Klip, the African Union International School in Midrand, and Bohmer Secondary School in Bloemfontein. English Language Ability

Graduate Admission
Please check each university’s website to confirm the entrance requirements for graduate programs. The TOEFL exam is often required for international students (please see above).
- GRE from the Educational Testing Service: The Graduate Record Exam (GRE) is often required to gain admittance into Masters and Doctorate programs. - GMAT from the Graduate Management Admission Council: The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) is often required for Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) programs. It is offered multiple times a month at Pearson Professional Centres in Sandton, Johannesburg and the International Testing Center in Pretoria. It costs $250.00.
